OBJECTIVES
The project concerns environment and the challenge of sustainability. It would develop the awareness of the interaction between global and local environmental questions and promote a concrete change in students' behaviour.
The objectives are the following:
- develop the awareness of environmental issues as a global urgency
- develop the awareness of interaction between global urgencies and local realities;
- develop the awareness of interaction between the degradation of the environment and our way of life;
- promote an alternative way of life through the acquisition and the dissemination of ecosustainable daily attitudes;
- increase students' motivation through the application of practical and ludic strategies and ITC based activities
- improve students' learning competences through the activation of method of research and analyse;
- improve students' competence in using a foreign language in a multicultural and multilinguistic context;
- improve students' transversal working capacities in a multicultural and multilinguistic context;
- develop students' european citizenship;
- allow socially disadvantaged students to be in touch with other cultural contexts giving them wider educational opportunities.
